The sister-in-law of former Prime Minister Tony Blair said
\n yesterday that a rise <\/p>\nin the number of Muslims would be \u2018good\u2019 for
\nBritain.<\/p>\nLauren Booth, who converted to Islam last year, told
\nthe University of Essex\u2019s <\/p>\nannual Islamic Conference in Colchester that
\nsince becoming a Muslim she was <\/p>\na \u2018better worker\u2019 and a \u2018better mother\u2019

<\/p>\nLauren Booth, who converted to Islam last year,
\nsays that since becoming a <\/p>\nMuslim she is a ‘better worker’ and a ‘better
\n mother’ to her two daughters<\/p>\n<\/div>\nMs Booth was asked how her sister Cherie Blair and the former Prime Minister <\/p>\n
had reacted to her conversion. <\/p>\n
She replied: \u2018My sister…recognises that it is a great faith that people follow. <\/p>\n

<\/div>\nMs Booth told of the peace she had found when visiting a mosque in Iran. <\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s equivalent to having two spliffs and a bottle of wine,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n
